    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT</span> is searching for a full-time licensed<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Industrial Electrical Foreman </span>to join our team within the Industrial Division. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Industrial Electrical Foreman</span> must have a current and active Journeyman Electrician License issued from the State of Utah. A valid reciprocal state journeyman license will be considered as proof of experience, but a Utah journeyman license must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Experience in electrical construction and running field crews is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diplomatically manage the crews and provide appropriate training, positive and constructive feedback.</li>\n<li>Plan and layout the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.</li>\n<li>Ability to troubleshoot and install control circuits and compute electrical</li>\n<li>Ability to read, to understand, and to interpret electrical plans, complex circuit schematics and blueprints.</li>\n<li>Establish a site-specific safety plan and evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment to mitigate them.</li>\n<li>Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications.</li>\n<li>Evaluate the contracted scope of work with the PM to determine change requests and schedule affect.</li>\n<li>Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site.</li>\n<li>Monitor daily progress to the short-term and long-term schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.</li>\n<li>Conduct and participate in project meetings as needed and provide necessary trade coordination.</li>\n<li>Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of the installation of cable tray systems, tray cable installation, heat trace, rigid conduit bending and threading, motor control centers and instrumentation.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of MHSA &amp; OHSA Standards.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate technical information, listen to instructions and ask questions, as necessary.</li>\n<li>Ability to climb ladders, sufficient mobility to perform duties in small spaces by crouching, stooping, or kneeling and physical ability to perform tasks.</li>\n<li>Establish and implement prefab project-specific tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to manage more than one project at a time.</li>\n<li>Desire to contribute to improving standards and processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.</li>\n<li>Other duties or locations as assigned by manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current Utah Journeyman license.</li>\n<li>Five plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.</li>\n<li>Be able to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, such as indoor and outdoor lighting systems and timing</li>\n<li>Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.).
