Located in the following departments: Audiology, Deployment Health Department, Women’s Health Services and Primary Care Services, Pediatrics for Naval Hospital Clinic/Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command (NHC/NMRTC) Oak Harbor, WA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, WA 98278<strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Monday - Friday, between the hours of 0700 to 1630</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay:</strong> Between $23.50/hr - $24/hr & Health & Wellness $5.09*/hr worked (in lieu of benefits)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong> Vested vacation, sick leave, holiday leave, Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Short Term Disability</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Optional Benefits:</strong> Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) matching with employee participation in 401(K) plan</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare examination rooms prior to patient's arrival.</li>\n <li>Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers as directed.</li>\n <li>Check patient's vital signs, to include temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure, and pulse oximeter reading.</li>\n <li>Obtain and document patient's current medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies and vital signs on the correct form.</li>\n <li>Perform diagnostic procedures when ordered.</li>\n <li>Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance of examination rooms.</li>\n <li>Complete lab and x-ray requisitions in accordance with clinic policies.</li>\n <li>Enter demographic data into the computer upon patient check-in; enter diagnosis and departing time when patient is released.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Degree: </strong>Certificate.</li>\n <li><strong>Education:</strong> Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.</li>\n <li><strong>Certification:</strong> Current certification as a medical assistant by the NHA (National Health career Association), ARMA (American Registry of Medical Assistants), NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing), AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) , AMT (American Medical Technologists), AMCA (American Medical Certification Association)</li>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong> One year of experience within the last two years as a Certified Medical Assistant.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Kako'o Services LLC</strong></p>\n<p>Kako'o Services is a premier provider of healthcare workers to various military treatment facilities across the United States.
