&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p>The Sr. Electrical Design Engineer for high reliability DC-DC converters for Space and Military applications supports the development of new DC-DC converters. &nbsp;The Engineer is responsible for the design documentation, analyses and qualification of new DC-DC converters that will have a direct impact on meeting our product road map objectives. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Architect and design isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters&nbsp;and support production in new product DC-DC Converter development activites.</li><li>Responsible for the release of new design packages (documentation)</li></ul><ul><li>Perform worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA), derating analysis, and stress analysis for high-reliability applications.</li><li>Develop simulation models (LTspice or equivalent).</li><li>Develop power stage magnetics (transformers, inductors) including core selection, winding design, thermal analysis, and leakage control.</li><li>Conduct detailed loss modeling, efficiency optimization, and thermal design.</li><li>Design for radiation tolerance and total ionizing dose (TID) considerations where applicable.</li><li>Support EMI/EMC compliance per <strong>MIL-STD-461</strong> and related standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Generate detailed schematics and guide PCB layout for low noise, high efficiency, and high reliability.</li><li>Review customer specifications and internal datasheets.</li></ul><ul><li>Present designs at PDR, CDR, and other formal design reviews.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform test validation, qualification, and product release to production per corporate standards and procedures.</li><li>Support the test and product engineering teams to help solve problems</li><li>Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.</li><li>Build meaningful and productive relationships with internal business partners.</li><li>Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.</li><li>Contribute to building a positive team spirit.</li><li>Communicate effectively with all levels of employees.</li><li>Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using it for the benefit of 3rd parties.</li><li>Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><div class=\"fr-page-break\" contenteditable=\"false\" style=\"break-after: page;\" data-title=\"PageBreak\"><div class=\"fr-page-break-line\"><span class=\"fr-page-break-label\">Page Break</span></div></div><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years converter design experience</li><li>Knowledge of electronic engineering principles including analog circuits, power supplies, and isolated DC-DC converter design.</li><li>Experience with schematics and PCB design.</li><li>Hands-on experience performing bench electrical measurements using signal generators, DVMs, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as teamwork capabilities.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for design or field issues.</li><li>Standard electronic laboratory equipment: (i.e., Oscilloscopes, Pulse/Signal Generators, Parametric Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc).</li><li>Interface with customers and program managers on technical requirements and reviews.</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to align priorities in accordance with business goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Team player who can work with different multiple team members</li><li>High-energy, results-focused self-starter.</li><li>Strong analytical ability and decision-making.</li><li>Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.</li><li>Ability to manage competing priorities.</li><li>Excellent organization and planning skills.</li><li>Effective communication skills (written &amp;
