    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>\n<p>· Ensure the safety of both guests and employees is the highest priority.</p>\n<p>· Train employees in accordance with standard operating procedures, training checklists, and safety standards.</p>\n<p>· Execute the cleaning checklists/inventory sheets for an assigned team and ensure cleanliness in front-of-the-house, back-of-the-house, and fringe areas.</p>\n<p>· Ensure equipment is operated in accordance with standard operating procedures.</p>\n<p>· Ensure pre-opening and closing procedures are properly completed.</p>\n<p>· Maintain an open and effective line of communication between team members and management/supervision.</p>\n<p>· Evaluate the performance of employees and provide feedback to promote growth and retention.</p>\n<p>· Take immediate and decisive action to correct employees who are working at a substandard level.</p>\n<p>· Schedule rotations and break periods and ensure breaks are completed on time.</p>\n<p>· Maintain an adequate stock of all necessary cleaning supplies, paperwork, and equipment.</p>\n<p>· Interpret and enforce all park and corporate policies as set forth by Darien Lake.</p>\n<p>· Respond to guest comments and resolve guest concerns in a friendly, non-offensive manner.</p>\n<p>· Ensure employees immediately report all injuries to First Aid Department. Work with Safety to ensure that individuals are retrained when necessary to ensure safe practices are followed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Proven organization and time management skills.</p>\n<p>· Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.</p>\n<p>· Strong communication skills including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and guests.</p>\n<p>· Strong motivational, leadership and team building skills.</p>\n<p>· Ability to learn to operate equipment including pressure washers, restroom deep cleaners, wash down truck, and sweep truck.</p>\n<p>· Ability to read, interprets, and adheres to instructions and restrictions described in Material Safety Data Sheets.</p>\n<p>· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and a six-day workweek, as required.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Any and all other duties that is assigned or necessary in order to support the Operations Department and the park as a whole.
