Apply today! This position reports to the Production Planning Manager. The planner will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules and asset utilization to ensure adequate inventory levels with consideration to demand forecast and site capacity. This position will work closely with internal functions such as Procurement, Commercial, Operations, Warehouse and Quality. Essential Functions: Develops and maintains supply plan and finite production schedule based on S&OP demand forecast, production capacity and current stock on hand inventory. Works closely with Procurement to ensure raw material and purchasing requirements are adequate based on forecasted needs. Enters and maintains intended production plan in the ERP system and maintains dates, routings and BOM selection accuracy for planned orders. Serves as planning representative in site daily operations meetings. Leads weekly meeting with Sales and Operations to ensure production schedule maintains alignment with both Customer and Operational needs. Owns Master Data related to production planning within ERP system, such as BOMs, Item Engineering Data, and Sales Demand Forecasts. Reviews demand signals through MRP to ensure accuracy. Resolves discrepancies as needed. Performs data analysis and aggregation to measure and report on Planning KPIs. Involvement and assistance in monthly S&OP process as needed. Works with Quality and Manufacturing to schedule Media Fills for Processes and Operators as needed. Manages Change Controls, updates to SOPs and other documentation related to planning procedures. Assists the Planning Manager with strategic production planning and capacity analysis. Cross trains the responsible backup and ensures responsibilities are covered when taking time off. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency. Serves as backup to Production Planning Manager. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE AND NECESSARY SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required. Certificates in APICS preferred. 3+ years of production planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment. 1-2 years of related experience in pharmaceutical and cGMP manufacturing preferred. Possess analytical, planning, risk-management, and problem-solving skills. Proven attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a strong results orientation. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change. Experienced with multiple ERP/MRP systems and concepts, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. Proficient written, verbal and oral English communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Microsoft, and Excel is required. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds periodically. The planner will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules and asset utilization to ensure adequate inventory levels with consideration to demand forecast and site capacity. This position will work closely with internal functions such as Procurement, Commercial, Operations, Warehouse and Quality.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develops and maintains supply plan and finite production schedule based on S&amp;OP demand forecast, production capacity and current stock on hand inventory.</li><li>Works closely with Procurement to ensure raw material and purchasing requirements are adequate based on forecasted needs.</li><li>Enters and maintains intended production plan in the ERP system and maintains dates, routings and BOM selection accuracy for planned orders.</li><li>Serves as planning representative in site daily operations meetings.&nbsp;</li><li>Leads weekly meeting with Sales and Operations to ensure production schedule maintains alignment with both Customer and Operational needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Owns Master Data related to production planning within ERP system, such as BOMs, Item Engineering Data, and Sales Demand Forecasts.</li><li>Reviews demand signals through MRP to ensure accuracy. Resolves discrepancies as needed.</li><li>Performs data analysis and aggregation to measure and report on Planning KPIs.</li><li>Involvement and assistance in monthly S&amp;OP process as needed.</li><li>Works with Quality and Manufacturing to schedule Media Fills for Processes and Operators as needed.</li><li>Manages Change Controls, updates to SOPs and other documentation related to planning procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists the Planning Manager with strategic production planning and capacity analysis.</li><li>Cross trains the responsible backup and ensures responsibilities are covered when taking time off.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency.</li><li>Serves as backup to Production Planning Manager.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>EXPERIENCE AND NECESSARY SKILLS:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.</li><li>Certificates in APICS preferred.</li><li>3+ years of production planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li><li>1-2 years of related experience in pharmaceutical and cGMP manufacturing preferred.</li><li>Possess analytical, planning, risk-management, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proven attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a strong results orientation.</li><li>Able to work&nbsp;in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.</li><li>Experienced with multiple ERP/MRP systems and concepts, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.</li><li>Proficient written, verbal and oral English communication skills are required.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Microsoft, and Excel is required.</li></ul><strong style=\"box-sizing: border-box;
