Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>To perform a teller position daily you must have knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Machine skills include computer, calculator, coin sorter and roller, copier, check encoder and currency counter.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Duties may vary between individuals holding this position, depending on what location they may be assigned. The teller position generally encompasses the following duties:</p><p><br></p><p>Receive and process deposits and withdrawals for customers, including savings, checking, loan payments, IRA deposits, etc.</p><p>Cashing of checks</p><p>Maintain and comply with maximum cash-on-hand requirements assigned for teller station.</p><p>Process night deposits, incoming customer shipments and change orders.</p><p>Assist customers with wire transfers and cash advances on various credit cards.</p><p>Preform vault teller functions as needed, including verification, buying, and selling of cash for all teller stations, turning off and re-setting alarms, daily opening and closing of the vaults.&nbsp;</p><p>Daily maintenance of automatic teller machines, including the processing of deposits, addition of money and weekly balancing, where and when required.&nbsp;</p><p>Reporting of large cash transactions – CTR, Monetary Instrument forms or both if needed.&nbsp;</p><p>Sale and operation of cashier’s checks and money orders.&nbsp;</p><p>Assist customers in the completion/preparation of deposit slips, withdrawals, etc.&nbsp;</p><p>Daily balancing and resolution of overages and shortages.&nbsp;</p><p>Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses.</p><p><br></p>",
