As GigaKOM continues to expand its client base and technology offerings, we are seeking a Sales Administrator – IT Solutions to support our sales operations, customer engagement, proposal coordination, and vendor management activities. This role is ideal for an organized and proactive professional with strong administrative and communication skills who also has an interest or background in information technology and enterprise solutions. Location Remote – California This is a fully remote position supporting internal sales operations and client activities across California. Position Overview The Sales Administrator – IT Solutions plays a critical operational role within the sales organization, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, vendors, Account Executives, and internal teams. This position supports sales activities including: Proposal and bid coordination CRM and opportunity management Vendor pricing and order processing Customer communications and follow-up Sales operations and administrative support The ideal candidate combines strong organizational abilities with a working knowledge of IT products, enterprise technologies, or technical sales environments. This role offers opportunities for growth within technology sales, operations, and client engagement. What You’ll Do Sales Operations & Administrative Support Support Account Executives and sales leadership with day-to-day operational activities Process leads, update opportunities, and maintain CRM records Coordinate schedules, appointments, and sales follow-ups Monitor communications, customer requests, and sales activity tracking Maintain organized records, documentation, and internal reporting Proposal, Bid & Vendor Coordination Review bid postings, RFPs, RFQs, and customer requests Assist with preparation of: Proposals Bid responses Customer correspondence Pricing documentation Work with distributors and vendors on: Product availability Pricing requests Quotes Lead times Support sales teams during procurement and proposal processes Customer & Partner Engagement Serve as a point of contact for customer and vendor communications Assist clients with: Order inquiries Returns Delivery updates Product information requests Coordinate internally with sales representatives to resolve customer needs Support relationship-building with clients, vendors, and partners Order Processing & CRM Management Enter and process customer purchase orders into CRM systems Track order status and communicate expected delivery timelines Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and account information Assist with reporting and sales activity tracking Marketing & Sales Coordination Assist with coordination of marketing materials and sales campaigns Support webinars, partner events, and promotional activities Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on customer outreach initiatives Professional Development & Industry Knowledge Continue developing knowledge of enterprise IT products and solutions Learn about: Networking Cloud solutions Security technologies Public sector procurement processes Participate in training, educational opportunities, and professional development initiatives Qualifications Required High School diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency with: Microsoft Office Suite Excel CRM systems Database management tools Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Preferred Previous experience in: Technology sales IT administration Customer service Sales operations Procurement coordination Familiarity with enterprise IT technologies and terminology Experience working with: Cisco HPE Aruba Networking or security products Experience supporting SLED (K–12, higher education, government) accounts is a plus Core Competencies Sales administration and operational support CRM and opportunity management Proposal and bid coordination Vendor and distributor communication Customer service and relationship management Organization and attention to detail IT product and technology awareness Multitasking and time management Written and verbal communication Team collaboration and adaptability Compensation & Structure Competitive compensation based on experience Flexible engagement options: Full-time Part-time Contract Performance-based incentives where applicable Fully remote work environment Opportunity for career growth within technology sales and operations Why Join GigaKOM?
