    "description": "<p>Description</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>POSITION PURPOSE: Directly reporting to the Team Lead of Structured Finance, the Structured Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Finance Team.&nbsp; The Structured Financial Analyst will support power purchase agreement (PPA) pricing, corporate and project finance modeling, financial planning and analysis (FP&amp;A), and other strategic planning efforts for Standard Solar, a developer, installer and owner of solar energy systems.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Bachelor&acute;s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related field.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Two or more years relevant work experience.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Proficient in financial modeling concepts.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Expert with MS Excel, and highly skilled with other MS Office products including PowerPoint and Word.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all departments within company.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Strong grasp of financial/accounting principles.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>High attention to details.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Good communication skills.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>MAJOR DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Support Standard Solar&rsquo;s business development team by analyzing solar energy project economics and calculating profitable Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) pricing.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Manage dynamic workstream of PPA pricing requests, documenting assumptions and results for quotes in Salesforce.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Analyze trends and monitor pricing results and variances to continuously improve pricing process and strategy.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Develop and manage accurate and understandable financial models in MS Excel and on other financial model platforms for internal and external audiences.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Research and evaluate federal, state and local solar energy incentives and maintain a list of applicable incentives.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Prepare presentation materials for corporate management and project investors.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Produce short-term and long-term corporate profitability and cashflow forecasts for management and investors.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Ad hoc analysis including market trends, corporate operations, project financial performance.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Assist with obtaining structured financing deals</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Other duties as assigned</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Physical Requirements</p>\r\n\r\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.&nbsp; The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.&nbsp; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>This position description reflects Standard Solar&rsquo;s assignment of essential functions; nothing in this position description restricts the Company&rsquo;s latitude to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Requirements</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Minimum Education, Skills and Qualifications:</strong><br />\r\n<br />\r\nA minimum of a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business from an accredited four-year college or university with two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a financial analysis role with strong financial modeling skills.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>Additional Information</strong><br />\r\nStandard Solar is EOE/AA/Minority/Female/Veteran/Disabled employer and a drug free workplace.</p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:11px\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos,sans-serif\">Please&nbsp;note&nbsp;this job description is not designed to cover or&nbsp;contain&nbsp;a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are&nbsp;required of&nbsp;the employee for this job.
