          "text": "<p><strong>Summary </strong></p><p>Multi-craft position that installs, dismantles, inspects, observes, troubleshoots, services, and repairs industrial equipment, hydraulic, and pneumatic for mechanically driven and/or electrical industrial machinery. Will do basic PLC (Programmable Logic Control) troubleshooting. Follows detailed job specific instructions to ensure processes and procedures are followed in an efficient and productive manner. Works under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </strong>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members.</li><li>Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.</li><li>Wears appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head, and eye protection.</li><li>Uses proper lifting and ergo techniques.</li><li>Proactively promotes The McWane Way Principles.</li><li>Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction.</li><li>Plans and lays out repair work using diagrams, drawings, maintenance manuals, schematics, or other specifications to determine repair or installation procedures.</li><li>Requests equipment and supplies for maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.</li><li>Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies to ensure the availability of materials required at job site.</li><li>Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them, referencing manuals, draws, or catalogs as needed.</li><li>Dismantles machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.</li><li>Installs, replaces, changes or repairs machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or testing equipment.</li><li>Cleans or lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery.</li><li>Uses basic cutting and welding skills.</li><li>Records production, repair, and machine maintenance information.</li><li>Electronically completes CMMS work orders to identify problems and logging man hours for time worked per work order.</li><li>Communicates with supervisor, team lead and/or other trades workers to coordinate installations and complete projects or repairs.</li><li>Works with the team to reduce/eliminate bottlenecks to reach team goals.</li><li>Works on continuous improvement projects.</li><li>Maintains, troubleshoots, and installs industrial control systems.</li><li>Understands and uses rigging in the use of cranes and hoists.</li><li>Runs and bends conduit to NEC (National Electrical Code) Code Standards.</li><li>Pulls wires and makes wire terminations.</li><li>Inspects electrical systems and their components to evaluate condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.</li><li>Diagnoses simple causes of electrical problems or failures for identifying equipment and/or systems repair.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><strong>Education and/or Experience </strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma/GED preferred.</li><li>Completion of a vocational certificate program in Industrial Maintenance, Electrician, or related program plus two years’ experience in industrial maintenance, or completion of a formal apprenticeship program plus two years’ experience in industrial maintenance; or four years’ experience in industrial maintenance required.</li><li>Knowledge and ability to work on 240 – 480 volt three-phase power and 24 -120-volt controls.</li><li>Passing written and hands-on exams to demonstrate competency in mechanical and electrical maintenance.</li><li>You must have basic computer skills.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li></ul><p><strong>Language Skills </strong>&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
