To learn more about this incentive and whether you may qualify, please contact your Recruitment Advisor.</em></p>\n<p><strong>We are hiring Operating Room Registered Nurses at St. Paul's Hospital, who thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a critical role in life-changing surgical care!</strong></p>\n<p>As a Staff Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients/residents receive comprehensive support.</p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess patients' physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs. </li>\n <li>Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. </li>\n <li>Incorporate teaching into care plans to educate patients and families. </li>\n <li>Make referrals to resources as needed. </li>\n <li>Support fellow healthcare professionals. </li>\n <li>Operate within the framework of Providence Health Care's mission, vision, and values. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratio</h2>Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratios (mNPR) set the minimum number of nurses required to safely care for patients on a given unit. Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the BC Nurses' Union (BCNU), and health organizations across British Columbia, mNPR provides a consistent and transparent approach to staffing that supports safe nursing practice and high-quality patient care.
