The working environment is exclusively on the plant floor.</p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p><i><b>Tasks:</b></i></p><ul><li>Perform electrical and CNC machine repairs and mechanical alignments</li><li>Perform repairs on both production and non-production equipment such as broaches, grinders, polishers, etc.</li><li>Maintain and repair support equipment such as conveyors, elevators, and blenders</li><li>Complete regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities</li><li>Move and install machinery and automation components</li><li>1. Mechanical Proficiency</li></ul><p>· Diagnose and repair mechanical failures (bearings, spindles, slides, ball screws)</p><p>· Perform machine alignments and calibrations</p><p>· Understand hydraulic and pneumatic systems</p><p>2. Electrical and Electronic Knowledge</p><p>· Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (motors, drives, sensors, relays, transformers)</p><p>· Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic</p><p>· Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools</p><p>3. CNC Control Systems</p><p>· Familiarity with major CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, Mazak)</p><p>· Update and back up machine software and firmware</p><p>· Reinstall and configure control systems and PLCs</p><p>4. Computer and Network Skills</p><p>· Update firmware and install software patches</p><p>· Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Abilities</p><p>· Systematic problem-solving using root cause analysis</p><p>· Perform preventive and predictive maintenance checks</p><p>· Analyze machine data and error logs to pinpoint faults</p><p>· Properly lockout/tagout (LOTO) machinery during repairs</p><p>· Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and parts diagrams</p><p>· Communicate effectively with machine operators, engineers, and management</p><p>· Document repairs, parts used, and maintenance history accurately</p><p>· Certifications and Compliance</p><p>· OSHA safety training and awareness</p><p>· Certification in electrical safety, precision alignment, or vendor-specific systems</p><p><b>Job Specification:</b></p><p><i><b>Competencies:</b></i></p><ul><li>Knowledge of pipe fitting, welding, electrical wiring, and general mechanics</li><li>Knowledge of industrial electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose machine issues</li><li>Ability to comply with safety regulations and practice safe working habits</li></ul><p><i><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></i></p><ul><li>10+ years of experience working in an industrial maintenance role</li><li>Experience with pumps (diaphragm and centrifugal) drives e.g. gearbox, belts, chain, hydraulic, couplings, air motors, bearings, shafts, nuts, bolts, taps, and dies</li><li><b>Must have experience on CNC machines</b></li><li>Electrical experience: High voltage 460 volt 3 phase circuits, motor controls, low voltage</li><li><b>Must have work/repair experience on the following equipment: Okuma, Makino, Fuji, broach, Mazak, grinders, Fanuc controls</b></li><li>Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be available for overtime when needed</li><li>Must be able to work with a diverse group of coworkers</li><li>Stable work history and ability to come into work on time every scheduled day</li></ul><p>J.
