This position provides college-wide oversight of academic transfer, career-technical education, health sciences, workforce training, dual enrollment, eLearning, and institutional research &amp; effectiveness. The Vice President ensures instructional excellence, student success, and alignment with workforce and economic development needs.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p>\n<p><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Degrees:&nbsp;PhD, EdD or terminal degree is required.</li>\n <li>Administrative Leadership:&nbsp;5–8 years of demonstrated leadership experience.</li>\n <li>College-level teaching experience (full-or part-time) required.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and/or program assessment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership in budget management and institutional planning.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Commitment to student success and workforce alignment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Is Humble, Hungry, and Smart.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Preferred:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Higher education leadership experience.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with workforce development, WIOA, and dual enrollment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the Mississippi community college system .</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>\n<ol>\n <li>Provides strategic leadership for all instructional programs in alignment with the College’s mission and goals.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinates college-wide instructional policies and ensures compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation standards.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Leads curriculum development, program review, and continuous improvement across all instructional areas.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Supervises and supports deans, faculty, instructional administrators, and instructional support services.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provides system-wide coordination of instructional support functions and academic operations.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Recommends employment, evaluation, and development of instructional and instructional support personnel.</li>\n <li>Develops and manages instructional budgets; assists with institutional budget planning.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinates class scheduling and faculty assignments for all credit and non-credit course offerings.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Oversees development and maintenance of curriculum, syllabi, catalog, and instructional publications.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Leads academic governance structures including curriculum committees and instructional councils.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Establishes and monitors short- and long-range instructional goals; reports progress to the President.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Serves as institutional lead for accreditation, institutional effectiveness, and assessment.</li>\n <li>Leads development of new academic and workforce programs aligned with regional needs.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Advances innovation in teaching, learning, and instructional delivery methods.</li>\n <li>Understands AACC’s “Resilient by Design: The Future of America’s Community Colleges,” and “Strategic Compass 2035” frameworks.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provides oversight for key areas:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Academic &amp; Career-Technical Instruction&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Health Sciences Instruction</li>\n   <li>eLearning / Distance Education&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Dual Enrollment&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Workforce Training &amp; WIOA Programs&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Institutional Research &amp; Effectiveness&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned by the College President.&nbsp;</li>\n</ol>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>\n<p>Provides leadership and oversight for academic, career-technical, and health science divisions, workforce programs, and institutional research &amp; effectiveness.
