    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Digital Solutions &amp; Enablement Team</strong></p><p><strong>Position: Analyst, Digital Solutions &amp; Enablement</strong></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>The Digital Solutions &amp; Enablement team serves as the central hub for executing strategic technology initiatives across Commonfund&#39;s investment management businesses. We partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, design solutions, and deliver them from concept through implementation.</p><p>We are seeking a technically skilled recent graduate with a foundation in data science, computer science, or engineering who is interested in applying their expertise to identify digital solutions to optimize business operations across Commonfund. You&#39;ll partner with teams across the firm to learn their processes, uncover common pain points, and help deliver shared solutions that improve data accuracy and insights at scale.</p><p><strong><em>This position is based in our Norwalk, CT office.</em></strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Data Science &amp; AI</strong></p><ul><li>Support the development and testing of machine learning models to address business problems (e.g., forecasting, classification, anomaly detection, NLP)</li><li>Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines for model training, feature engineering, and deployment</li><li>Research emerging AI/ML tools, platforms, and techniques and summarize findings for the team</li><li>Help monitor model performance and flag issues or opportunities for improvement</li></ul><p><strong>Business Intelligence &amp; Analytics</strong></p><ul><li>Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to support business decision making</li><li>Analyze data across multiple sources to identify trends, surface insights, and support business cases</li><li>Work with databases and data flows to ensure accurate, reliable reporting</li><li>Apply a data driven, user centered approach to delivering information that meets business user needs</li></ul><p><strong>Solution Design &amp; Business Analysis</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in discovery sessions to understand pain points, workflows, and requirements</li><li>Help translate business challenges into clear problem statements and technical requirements</li><li>Research and evaluate technology solutions, contributing to comparative analyses and recommendations</li><li>Support communication between business stakeholders and IT to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>You will be successful in this role if you have:</p><ul><li>BA/BS in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field)</li><li>Finance course work a plus but not required&nbsp;</li><li>Coursework or project experience with BI and analytics applications (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), programming (Python/R, SQL, etc.), and databases (MS SQL Server, AWS, etc.)</li><li>Self motivated team player, comfortable working within a dynamic business environment, juggling multiple responsibilities and pivoting to new challenges/priorities as they arise</li><li>Curious and collaborative, with a desire to learn how different teams operate and an eye for identifying common challenges that can be solved through shared solutions&nbsp;</li><li>Enjoys problem solving and being &quot;the glue&quot; between business challenges/opportunities and delivering results&nbsp;</li><li>Foundational understanding of databases, data flows, and how data relates across various sources&nbsp;</li><li>Strong communicator who can build collaborative relationships across business and IT teams&nbsp;</li><li>Proactive and resourceful, comfortable working through ambiguity and crafting solutions with limited guidance</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Internship or project experience in data science, business intelligence, or analytics</li><li>Exposure to machine learning (ML) models or AI implementation through coursework, personal projects, or internships</li><li>Interest in or exposure to institutional investment management, asset management, or financial services</li><li>Familiarity with data governance, data management, or MDM concepts</li></ul>\n",
