    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal.</li>\n <li>Utilize the NCR process and 8D approach to building quality into the processes including but not limited to:</li>\n <li>Internally Audit daily work activities within the organization to identify non-conformances in process that require sustained correction.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Expeditiously Initiate, Manage-by-Priority, and Close out NCR’s.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Escalate repeated non-conformances or advanced level problems to QA Engineers.</li>\n <li>Measures cost of poor quality and number of customer complaints</li>\n <li>Manages external complaints and handles RGA’s.</li>\n <li>Transfers all NCR corrective actions to FMEA critical controls and adds those controls to Groups control plan.</li>\n <li>Ensures all associates in respective area are competently trained and practicing proper operating procedures to ensure a quality product is passed through all stations.</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities to builds quality into the products and processes.</li>\n <li>Liaise closely with engineering, production, safety, vendors to ensure product compliance.</li>\n <li>Engage in any improvements which seek to drive the COPQ down.</li>\n <li>Assist development of a fully documented SOP’s for all activities within the organization.</li>\n <li>Deliver training for any new quality improvement</li>\n <li>Controls feedback from first and second party MS audits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of High school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>3-5 years' experience working in an advanced technical QA position in a manufacturing environment&nbsp;<i>preferred.</i></li>\n <li>3-5 years' experience quality related document control&nbsp;<i>preferred.</i></li>\n <li>3-5 years' experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, and/or tape measures) to do in-depth quality checks.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to learn the entire process of the production line where you are assigned</li>\n <li>Quality related certifications and training&nbsp;<i><strong>highly preferred&nbsp;</strong></i>(Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to handle pressure and request resources when necessary.</li>\n <li>Ability to work as a member of a team in a team-oriented environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to plan and organize your responsibilities according to needs of the company</li>\n <li>Ability to make decision and self-pace your work.
