Our roots were formed in the exacting nuclear and aerospace industries, expanded into Medical where we have supplied critical components to a global customer base. &nbsp;We currently provide elegant solutions across a broad range of customers and diverse markets. &nbsp; At Veridiam we recognize that talent is at the forefront of our organization and define who we are in today&#39;s industry.&nbsp;</p><p>POSITION SUMMARY</p><p>Perform preparation and operate draw bench to draw metal rods into specified shapes and diameter. &nbsp;May perform a variety of general tasks including but not limited to coating, deburring, loading and moving material or tubes throughout facility.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIIBILITIES</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Prepare metal rod/tube for the cleaning, pointing/swaging and draw bench processes.</li><li>Manually position and secure specified die and place metal rod/tube into draw bench.</li><li>Manually move levers and buttons to set draw speed and operation.</li><li>Inserts pointed end of rod through die and into holding jaws.</li><li>Manually place long metal tubes into pointer machine for swaging process.</li><li>Manually coat material/tubes with lubricating chemical.</li><li>May mix chemicals to create lubrication.</li><li>May perform cutting metal material by use of chop/abrasive saw.</li><li>Provide assistance in department functions.</li><li>May move parts from one operation to another throughout facility or within the department.</li><li>Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications.</li><li>Observe and monitor machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.</li><li>May measure work piece dimensions.</li><li>Maintain clean and orderly work environment.</li><li>Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.</li><li>Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.</li></ul><p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS</p><p id=\"isPasted\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
