          "text": "<p>The&#xa0;<strong>Driver/Material Handler</strong>&#xa0;is a vital member of the Metal Shop team, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, components, and finished goods both within Mission Critical Group's manufacturing facility and between external company locations and vendors. This role supports the seamless flow of production operations by ensuring materials are accurately transported, organized, and delivered&#xa0;in a timely manner. The Driver/Material Handler&#xa0;is responsible for&#xa0;operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and company vehicles including box trucks, while adhering to all DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and company safety protocols&#xa0;at all times. This position requires a reliable and safety-conscious individual who can manage both internal material handling and external transportation responsibilities with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate communicates effectively with production, warehouse, and&#xa0;logistics&#xa0;teams to prevent delays and&#xa0;maintain&#xa0;an organized, hazard-free work environment. Consistent and&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;representation of the Mission Critical Group brand, mission, vision, values, and organizational strategy are essential to the success of this role and the&#xa0;organization.&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Internal&#xa0;Material Handling:&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks) to move, stack, load, and unload materials, components, and finished goods within the manufacturing plant and warehouse.&#xa0;</li><li>Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.&#xa0;</li><li>Transport materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and shipping/receiving docks.&#xa0;</li><li>Ensure&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;placement and organization of products in storage locations.&#xa0;</li><li>Perform routine inventory counts and update&#xa0;records&#xa0;as necessary.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>External Transportation&#xa0;&#xa0;</strong>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Operate company vehicles, primarily (but not limited to) box trucks, to transport materials between company facilities and vendors.&#xa0;</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, documenting and reporting any mechanical or safety issues.&#xa0;</li><li>Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT&#xa0;regulations&#xa0;and company safety protocols.&#xa0;</li><li>Maintain&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;delivery records, including time logs, mileage reports, and bills of lading.&#xa0;</li><li>Assist&#xa0;with loading and unloading goods at delivery points, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.&#xa0;</li><li>Communicate effectively with&#xa0;logistics&#xa0;support, and internal teams&#xa0;regarding&#xa0;delivery schedules and any potential delays.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Safety &amp; Maintenance:&#xa0;&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA requirements at all times.&#xa0;</li><li>Ensure loads are secured properly before transportation.&#xa0;</li><li>Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, including vehicles and material handling equipment.&#xa0;</li><li>Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents to the supervisor&#xa0;immediately.&#xa0;</li><li>Perform minor routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment (e.g., checking fluid levels, tire pressure).</li></ul><p><strong>General Duties:&#xa0;&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow.&#xa0;</li><li>Complete and&#xa0;maintain&#xa0;accurate&#xa0;logs and records of material movements and deliveries.&#xa0;</li><li>Assist&#xa0;with general warehouse duties as needed.&#xa0;</li></ul>",
