Maintains appropriate computer records of services provided.\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<strong>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions)</strong>  \n<li>Administers oxygen therapy as ordered.</li> \n<li>Administers physician prescribed respiratory treatments to patients within their individual registration to practice, including intermittent positive pressure breathing (IPPB), nebulizers, metered dose inhalers, and chest physiotherapy.</li> \n<li>Operates and maintains non-invasive monitoring systems as ordered, including pulse oximeters, transcutaneous monitors, and oxygen analyzers.</li> \n<li>Performs deep endotracheal and nasotracheal suction and tracheostomy care per procedure.</li> \n<li>Performs patient assessments for response to therapy.</li> \n<li>Sets-up, attaches, operates and manages mechanical ventilators.</li> \n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Minimum Requirements)</strong><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of respiratory care therapeutics and oxygen therapy and all related equipment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must demonstrate high level of discretion, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in activities.</li>\n <li>Ability to present in pleasant professional manner for effective communications.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1year Respiratory Therapy Preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>LICENSE/CERTIFICATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist</li>\n <li>BLS Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR</strong>Meets the Standards of Behavior as outlined in Personnel Policy and Procedure #1, Employee Relations Code.<strong>CONFIDENTIALITY/HIPAA/CORPORATE COMPLIANCE</strong>Demonstrates knowledge of procedures for protecting and maintaining security, confidentiality and integrity of employee, patient, family, organizational and other medical information.
