Role Summary The Craft Recruiter is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of the skilled trade professionals who power our self-perform electrical and industrial services. This role bridges the gap between project demand and field manpower. You will partner directly with field leadership to build high-quality pipelines for electricians and technical craft roles, ensuring our projects are staffed with professionals who embody our STRIVE© values. The Craft Recruiter is accountable for hiring outcomes. Core Accountability The Craft Recruiter is directly accountable for: Filling assigned craft and technical requisitions effectively and on time. Building and maintaining a "ready" pool of candidates for high-demand recurring roles Forecast alignment with manpower and project demands Representing CEC at job fairs, trade schools, and industry events to strengthen our employment brand within the craft community. Compliance with employment laws and company policies Professional candidate and hiring manager experience Execution Responsibilities Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition intake through offer and onboarding support. Partner with hiring supervisors to define role requirements, success profiles, and selection criteria for specialized trades. Create and manage requisitions within the applicant tracking system, including postings and advertisements. Develop sourcing strategies aligned to craft labor markets, technical roles, and field leadership hiring needs. Proactively build pipelines for high-demand and recurring positions (e.g., Electricians, Journeymen, Apprentices). Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring team participation. Provide regular recruiting updates to hiring managers and leadership. Maintain KPIs related to time-to-fill, pipeline health, and recruiting effectiveness. Support weekly manpower forecasting and communicate hiring status during operations discussions. Represent the company at job fairs, trade schools, industry events, and community recruiting efforts. Assist with onboarding activities as required to ensure smooth candidate transitions. Leadership & Standards Set the example for urgency, professionalism, and follow-through Build strong, credible partnerships with operations and field leadership Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment in all employment matters Live and promote STRIVE© values in daily interactions Required Experience & Qualifications 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience; energy, construction, industrial, or field workforce environments strongly preferred Demonstrated success filling high-volume and hard-to-fill skilled or technical roles Experience partnering with operations leaders in fast-moving environments Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies Strong interviewing, evaluation, and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with shifting timelines Proficiency utilizing job boards, Boolean searches and professional/networking groups Professional Discipline Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations Data-driven mindset with experience tracking recruiting metrics Experience supporting workforce planning or manpower forecasting preferred Measures of Success Time-to-fill performance Quality of hire and retention Pipeline strength for recurring needs Hiring manager satisfaction Compliance and documentation accuracy Contribution to scalable, repeatable recruiting operations Working Conditions Office environment with periodic travel up to 20% for regional job sites and recruiting events Extended hours may be required based on hiring demands Employment Conditions Subject to satisfactory background check and drug/alcohol screening Must comply with all company safety policies and procedures Compensation & Benefits Base Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, scope of responsibility, and demonstrated capability.
