The Riverside Health home is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage for any of the following dates:
July 13th - 17th
July 21st - 24th
Responsibilities
delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members Remuneration
guaranteed daily minimum income of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 or half-day) additional shadow billings if above amount is exceeded. accommodations up to $300 per night travel expenses (including air fare up to $1,500) travel time up to 10 hours per week licensing fees for College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSNS)
all applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) all family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
Clinic Details
Riverside Health home is a w ell-established family medicine clinic using Med Access EMR, with a collaborative team consisting of two other family physicians, Family Practice Nurses (FPNs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and a strong administrative support team. The clinic offers comprehensive primary care services and includes access to a fully equipped procedural room for physicians interested in performing office-based procedures. Flexible practice opportunities and a supportive collegial environment are available.
