The ideal candidate will perform the programming and operation of various machine tools. <br><br><strong>How you will make an impact:</strong></p><ul><li>Will be exposed to multiple machines and controllers including HAAS, Mazak and Proto-Trak on 3 to 5 axis machining centers and mill turns in prototype machine shop environment.</li><li>Be familiar with SolidWorks, SolidCam or other comparable CAD/CAM software.</li><li>Prepare stock</li><li>Program, Set up and operate machining centers and lathes per shop personnel instruction</li><li>Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy</li></ul><strong>To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:</strong><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of technical school completed</li><li>1+ year machining experience</li><li>Must have familiarity and skill with all the commonly used machine tools</li><li>Experienced with the set-up and operation of milling machines, lathes, CNC machines and precision measuring equipment a plus</li><li>Basic understanding of blueprint reading</li><li>Be able to maintain a clean and organized work environment</li></ul><p><strong>About DEKA:</strong></p><p>One hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
