Assist with the coordination of the psychiatrist&rsquo;s/nurse practitioner&rsquo;s daily activities. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must be licensed LPN&nbsp;</li><li>Psychiatric/Behavioral Health and Healthcare technology experience preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to perform basic nursing assessments &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Core Job Duties&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Perform vitals. &nbsp;</li><li>Perform screenings per Prescriber&rsquo;s request. &nbsp;</li><li>Weekly updates on sample medication inventory and storage as well as quarterly inventory report with Registered Nurse (RN) assistance. &nbsp;</li><li>Actively working refill request from pharmacy(s). &nbsp;</li><li>Perform blood/urine collection(s) as requested by Prescriber(s). &nbsp;</li><li>Request lab results and follow up with reported results. &nbsp;</li><li>Call in prescriptions and refill medications as needed and directed by the Prescriber. &nbsp;</li><li>Manage written prescription(s) documentation. &nbsp;</li><li>Manage medication injection(s) and medication injection(s) documentation. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Manage Patient Assistance for all medications for the Prescribers. &nbsp;</li><li>Complete prior authorizations for Medicare/Medicaid/insurances for the Prescribers. &nbsp;</li><li>Answer phone calls/voice mail(s) regarding medications and notify Prescriber of adverse reactions. &nbsp;</li><li>Actively responds to emails regarding medications for person(s) served. &nbsp;</li><li>Handle request for records/discharge summaries as requested by Prescriber. &nbsp;</li><li>Perform metabolic screenings for person(s) served. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Administer Tuberculosis (TB) testing for staff. &nbsp;</li><li>Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. &nbsp;</li><li>Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency&rsquo;s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Other job duties and special projects as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div>\n    </div>\n  </div>\n",
