    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title</span>:  Journey Kids Director</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Description</span>:  The Journey Kids Director needs to be an extremely confident, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual who can lead staff and volunteer teams to provide world-class environments for all Journey Kids Areas (Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary).  This person needs to be a gifted problem-solver who considers obstacles as challenges to be conquered.  This person must be a team player, a team builder, and someone who consistently seeks more of Jesus. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Classification</span>:  Full-time (Exempt)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports to</span>:  Next Gen Pastor</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities &amp; Duties</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the Journey Kids volunteer team through prayer, coaching, motivation, affirmation, empowerment, evaluation, and supervision</li>\n<li>Build, supervise and maintain a cohesive strategy to effectively transition all children through age-specific ministry environments</li>\n<li>Oversee and lead all budget proposals and management of funds for Children’s Ministry</li>\n<li>Provide regular and consistent quality control for Journey Kids to ensure effectiveness, innovation, and sustainability</li>\n<li>Seek to create a healthy relationship with Journey Students</li>\n<li>Maintain and communicate alignment with the Mission and Vision of Journey Christian Church</li>\n<li>Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings pertaining to assigned teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Spiritual Criteria:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior</li>\n<li>Commitment to continued personal spiritual growth and formation</li>\n<li>Model the standards and expectations of leaders within Journey Christian Church</li>\n<li>Must attend Journey Christian Church</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma is required; College degree is encouraged</li>\n<li>Skills in Microsoft Office programs and other forms of technology are preferred</li>\n<li>Organized; flexible; ability to multi-task</li>\n<li>Exemplary oral and written skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The above is intended to describe the general content and requirement for performance of this job.
