    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech II, you’ll be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Distribution Center equipment. This position is also responsible for assisting with facility repairs as needed. This Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech II is expected to be proactive and can perform their work at a high level with minimum supervision. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for following all Safety policies in compliance with Rain Bird Safety Standards and Programs</li>\n <li>Perform tasks to increase Equipment Uptime and Reliability </li>\n <li>Perform periodic Preventative Maintenance tasks</li>\n <li>Provide troubleshooting skills to make mechanical/electrical repairs to equipment</li>\n <li>Communicate issues/improvements/ideas between department members and Supervision</li>\n <li>Responsible for reviewing Corrective Work Orders via Smartsheets or CMMS software and update as required</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot equipment/machinery to determine issue and repair in a safe/timely manner </li>\n <li>Light Fabrication Work as needed </li>\n <li>Work alongside the Operations team in resolving equipment issues</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow Safety Policies and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent </li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance</li>\n <li>Ability to perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repairs</li>\n <li>Knowledge and ability to understand Electrical/Mechanical Drawings</li>\n <li>Experience repairing complex equipment/machinery </li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience with computers (Ability to research parts, machines, etc.)</li>\n <li>Strong Work Ethic</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others</li>\n <li>Ability to complete tasks timely</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)</li>\n <li>Working toward or have received a Technical Degree or Equivalent</li>\n <li>Problem solving experience</li>\n <li>Knowledge in Continuous Improvement (Improve equipment with new designs/modifications)</li>\n <li>5+ Years of Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Experience </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Rain Bird is an equal opportunity employer.</p>",
