Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.</li>\n <li>Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.</li>\n <li>Serve as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed.</li>\n <li>Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provide input to staff performance evaluations.</li>\n <li>Position patients and select anatomic and echnical parameters accurately.</li>\n <li>Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.</li>\n <li>Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).</li>\n <li>Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Required Credential(s):\n  <ul>\n   <li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li>\n   <li>One or more of the following:\n    <ul>\n     <li>Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n     <li>Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n     <li>Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n     <li>Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specificexperience required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Preferences</h2>\n<p>No additional preferences.</p>\n<h2>About UAB St. Vincent’s</h2>\n<p>UAB St. Vincent’s, a proud part of UAB Medicine, is a trusted provider of health care, serving Alabama for more than 125 years.
