Successful candidates can look forward to a fast paced, diverse work environment and flexible work hours/work arrangements as well as managers who will encourage career development and growth including: &nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Technical &amp; Non-Technical Training Opportunities</li><li>Leadership Opportunities</li><li>Mentorship &amp; Training Opportunities</li><li>Opportunity to Lead, Grow, and Inspire a Dynamic Team</li></ul><p><strong>The successful GIS Tech candidate will support some or all of the following activities with <u>moderate</u> oversight:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Use GIS/CAD software to support electric distribution projects and data maintenance for higher complexity and priority projects.</li><li>Reference as-builts, work management logs, &amp; other documentation to update GIS data to reflect electric distribution construction completed in the field</li><li>Identify data inconsistencies and communicate with the appropriate resources to provide accurate data updates to client systems</li><li>Obtain and manipulate GIS data at state and municipality level</li><li>Participate and collaborate in meetings between teammates, clients, and other stakeholders</li><li>Ability to work in an Agile team environment where collaboration and receptiveness to feedback are essential to producing high quality work to meet Leidos &amp; clients&rsquo; standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Complete engineering design work and provide deliverables to Client.</li><li>Storm response work as needed.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>GIS Tech Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Requires HS Diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li><li>Willingness to perform both field and office work. Overnight travel may be required (10-20% travel)</li><li>Ability to work in outdoor environments; GIS Techs will perform field data collection</li><li>Ability to utilize personal vehicle&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of Utility Client Standards preferred.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>GIS Tech Software Experience in one or more programs is preferred:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>GIS Software such as Small World, Esri Suite (ArcMap, ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, ArcWeb services and ArcGIS Server), QGIS</li><li>CAD Software such as Bentley Systems (MicroStation), Autodesk (AutoCAD, Maya, Civil 3D)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, etc.) required&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
