Please use a bullet-point format in all areas.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) Site Analyst/System Administrator has overall technical responsibility for maintaining the UEWR Prime Mission Equipment (PME) and UEWR Simulator-Tester (UST) systems and associated network equipment. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned to meet the changing needs of contract performance.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitors mission computer systems responds immediately to malfunctions, and keeps users informed of real-time equipment status. </li>\n <li>Uses diagnostic routines to identify root causes of system malfunctions. </li>\n <li>Utilizes computer outputs to assess system status and troubleshoot errors. </li>\n <li>Utilizes maintenance laptop to diagnose malfunctions. </li>\n <li>Analyzes system data and provides recommendations to resolve assigned computer system degradation and failures. </li>\n <li>Follows all communications, operational and physical security requirements for the generation, handling, marking, controlling, protecting, and disposition of classified material and information. </li>\n <li>Maintains records, logs, files, and prepares reports. </li>\n <li>Controls government assets. </li>\n <li>Mentor members of the CMOC and operations staff in associated computer technologies.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement backup strategies and system restoration procedures. </li>\n <li>Add, remove, and maintain user accounts. </li>\n <li>Develop and maintain checklists to be used by site computer technicians. </li>\n <li>Performs mission system software installations and upgrades.</li>\n <li>Maintain system configuration with respect to UEWR applications: Mission Application Software (MAS), Signal Processing Software (SPS), Receiver-Exciter Software (RES) and Data Reduction.</li>\n <li>Monitor disk storage capacities and maintain adequate disk storage availability for all users and applications.</li>\n <li>Implement security procedures and monitor system usage.</li>\n <li>Assist the site Cyber Security Liaison in reviewing system security information and maintain relevant security accountability logs and records.</li>\n <li>Acknowledge and resolve problems with RAID file system.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Educational/Training Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Masters preferred) and 6 years’ experience</li>\n <li>2-3 years’ experience as a System Administrator using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)</li>\n <li>Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II requirements (Security+ CE minimum)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills/Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Local Area Network (LAN) and Cisco switch administration</li>\n <li>Silicon Graphics (SGI) UV 2000 administration</li>\n <li>SGI Rackable C2108-RP2 server administration </li>\n <li>SGI UV System Management Node (SMN) administration</li>\n <li>SGI Infinite Storage IS5000 RAID administration</li>\n <li>Protogate Freeway communication servers</li>\n <li>XLi SAASM Time & Frequency GPS Receivers & IOLan Terminal Servers</li>\n <li>Network File Server (NFS) architecture and administration</li>\n <li>LANs, WANs, TCP/IP, SNMP and networking with emphasis on Cisco Catalyst switches</li>\n <li>Software licensing, C++, software build processes, Perl, Python, or shell scripting</li>\n <li>Matlab, MATE, Mathematica, Satellite Tool Kit (STK), Missile Conversion Tool (MCT)</li>\n <li>Phased Array Radar principles</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Computing center environment. May work extended hours or weekends. May travel overnight or on weekends.  Support the system via “on call” when outside of normal working hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exerts limited physical energy. Must be able to correctly lift 50 Lbs.</li>\n <li>Must be able to travel.     </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
