What You’ll Do Sand, grind, prep, mask, and tape locomotive and railcar components for painting Apply decals, coatings, primers, and finishes using pressure spray systems Perform touch-ups, bodywork, and paint repairs as needed Power wash and clean railcars and locomotive parts before painting Conduct sandblasting and surface preparation for proper paint adhesion Mix paints and coatings to customer specifications Operate equipment including forklifts, cranes, manlifts, and pneumatic tools Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on paint equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience in auto body painting, industrial painting, manufacturing painting, or spray painting preferred Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with PPE requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically active conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Preferred Experience Auto body repair or painting Industrial or manufacturing paint systems Sandblasting and surface preparation Railcar or locomotive painting Technical training in auto body or paint programs Benefits & Perks Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Up to 50% of health insurance premiums paid by Impact Workforce Solutions 5 Days PTO 6 Paid Holidays Retirement savings and financial wellness programs Long-term career opportunities Apply today to start your career with a growing manufacturing team.
