    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">We're looking for an </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 180, 173)\">Business Application Analyst</span></span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Based in London and reporting to the Senior Manager, Applications, this role will assist in supporting all applications across Hamilton Global Specialty.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A willingness to learn the Hamilton systems and business processes is required to be able to efficiently understand, assess and address user requirements against system requirements, and to be able to challenge practices and seek improvements.  This role sits within the Hamilton Global Specialty IT team.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Hamilton Global Specialty is our multi-platform, specialty insurer operating primarily through a Lloyd's Syndicate and Dublin operating company with a managing general agency in the US.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">What you will do</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Triage queries from system users</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintenance of different application query and resolution logs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Identify system bugs and enhancements as well as assist in product testing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintaining key reference data within systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Engage effectively with system users throughout the business and participate in user groups</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitor system processes, identifying and working to resolve, any issues that may arise</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Establish and maintain system user guide and other documentation</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist with user and system access management and control</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Performing monthly SOX audit checks of applications and work with the Business System Analyst and QA Lead to identify system / process improvements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Liaise with system vendors to resolve functional queries and system performance issues</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you require for the role</span><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience of working in a Lloyd’s managing agent / Company market carrier preferable with understanding of key insurance processes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Advanced Knowledge of key Microsoft applications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Microsoft SQL skills are desirable.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems without supervision</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Good verbal and written communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and motivation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Confident in working across various business teams and at all levels</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Confident in working with 3rd party vendors</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to productively leverage data and technology</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Open, innovative and inclusive mindset</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborative spirit</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What you can expect from us</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">At Hamilton, we offer a vibrant, entrepreneurial and collaborative workplace shaped by our values: Be Smart, Be Sensible, Be Open and Be More.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Our employees consistently say they would recommend Hamilton as a great place to work — a testament to the inclusive, supportive, and empowering culture we’ve built together.
