You will be part of a team working on projects from conception through final design and construction. This position is diversified with opportunities to work in the office on the engineering design of railroad infrastructure and in the field with construction inspection/administration. You will work on a variety of designs and projects with the opportunity to learn and grow throughout your career at C&amp;S.</p><p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 15px;\"><strong style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: 700;\">Position Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 10.5px; margin-top: 0px;\"><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Ability to work with internal and external staff on an individual and team basis.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Ability to motivate and mentor junior staff.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Ability to manage all aspects of smaller projects or assigned tasks as part of a larger overall project.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Work with team in Client relationship management and obtaining additional business opportunities.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Ability to challenge oneself and broaden knowledge base.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Willingness to be proactive and anticipate.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">May require occasional travel away from the office, estimated 15%.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Communicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department as soon as identified.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 15px;\"><strong style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: 700;\">Skills/Education/Experience</strong></p><ul style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 10.5px; margin-top: 0px;\"><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">B.S. in Engineering field, M.S. in related Engineering field a plus.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">10 or more years of railroad related design and construction experience.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Experience with preparation of contract documents from bidding though design and award.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Experience with AREMA Manual for Railway Engineering.</li><li style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Experienced with Bentley MicroStation/InRoads and/or AutoDesk AutoCad/Civil 3D.
