    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p>Performs mammographic examinations including special procedure examinations under the direction of the department supervisor and radiologist.</p><p><strong><u>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong></p><ol><li>High School graduate or equivalent.</li><li>Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.</li></ol><p><strong><u>Experience:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Preference given to those with mammography and bone density experience.</li></ol><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Demonstrates the ability to function as a team member and to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with patients, staff members and physicians.</li></ol><p><strong><u>License/Certification/Registration:</u></strong></p><ol><li>Registered with the ARRT-Mammography in good standing and maintain compliance with continuing education requirements.</li><li>Maintains ACR requirements of 200 mammograms every two years and 15 CEC in mammography every three years.</li><li>Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.</li><li>Registered with the ARRT in Bone Density preferred.</li></ol><p><strong><u>SUPERVISION RECEIVED</u></strong></p><p>Receives general supervision from the Supervisor, Breast Center.</p><p><strong><u>SUPERVISION GIVEN</u></strong></p><p>None</p>",
