This position is responsible for the production (to include packaging) of food products in an efficient manner, at an acceptable level of quality, and service to sales on time.&#160;<br><br><strong>Qualified candidates must be open to working the 2nd shift (12pm-8pm or 2pm-10pm)</strong><br><br><br><strong>Summery of Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><p>Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in producing quality products<br><br><strong>Abilities Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have prior bakery and supervisory experience.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to motivate and train employees within a team oriented environment.</li><li>Must be self-directed and able to work without close supervision.</li><li>Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Must have a solid foundation in food processing manufacturing (preferably baking).</li><li>Union plant experience preferred.</li><li>Strong communication, human relations, and safety awareness skills are essential.</li><li>Working knowledge of computers, including MS office applications.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Coach, counsel, train, and develop employee skills</li><li>Lead and motivate employees to maximize productivity and minimize operating costs.</li><li>Maintain a safe work environment and insure that employees work in a safe manner, and uphold company safety policies.</li><li>Direct the work of employees in the production and wrap department.</li><li>Ensure that products are produced in accordance with Schwebel Baking Company quality specifications.</li><li>Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.</li><li>To completely and legibly fill out required forms and paperwork.</li><li>Conduct walk throughs during the shirt to verify product quality and safety.</li><li>Reports and takes necessary action to prevent food safety, legality, and quality problems from occurring.</li><li>Follows and enforces programs and procedures outlines in the Food Safety and Quality Manual to support compliance with the FSSC 220000 for Food Safety and other third party audits.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by Manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p><p>Schwebel&#8217;s will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
