    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>SUMMARY</u></strong></p>\n<p>The Intermediate Financial Analyst (FA II)&nbsp;provides complex transactional support for a process within an accounting cycle and/or full cycle accounting support for small scope contract(s) or business unit(s).&nbsp; At this level, the incumbent typically supports multiple portfolios or business units.</p>\n<p><strong><u>KEY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides complex transactional support for a process within an accounting cycle and/or full cycle accounting support for small scope contract(s) or business unit(s).</li>\n <li>Completes and resolves assigned account reconciliations.</li>\n <li>Prepares, gathers, consolidates and reports routine data.</li>\n <li>Prepares routine monthly reports.</li>\n <li>Prepares monthly client invoices.</li>\n <li>Prepares and reconciles basic audit working papers.&nbsp; Maintains accurate and complete records for audits.&nbsp; Gathers audit support data upon request. &nbsp;Documentation is reviewed prior to submission.</li>\n <li>Reviews results to determine accrual entries in coordination with internal managers.</li>\n <li>Reconciles month end results for simple contract(s) or business unit(s) for sub ledger reconciliations.</li>\n <li>Prepares bank reconciliations.</li>\n <li>Prepares month end journal entries.</li>\n <li>Reviews and enters time cards.</li>\n <li>Codes and validates expense reports, vendor invoices and procurement cards.</li>\n <li>Enters data to sub ledger systems and direct to G/L.</li>\n <li>Identifies complex and resolves basic transactional accounting discrepancies.&nbsp; May require management involvement.</li>\n <li>Identifies and recommends process improvement opportunities at an account level following GAAP procedures.</li>\n <li>Prepares memos and provides variance explanations.&nbsp; Summarizes findings and recommendations.&nbsp; Provides input to process documentations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS REQUIRED</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Job-Related Experience:&nbsp;3-5 years or more</li>\n <li>College Diploma or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET)</li>\n <li>Ability to identify complex and resolve basic transactional accounting discrepancies</li>\n <li>Ability to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities at an account level following GAAP procedures.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate basic accounting principles to support procedures and to explain financial results within the team and to internal customers.</li>\n <li>Ability to prepare memos, provide variance explanations and input to process documentations, and write summaries of findings and recommendations.</li>\n <li>Intermediate level knowledge of current accounting systems and MS Office suite of software</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partially completed an Accounting designation program (CGA, CMA)</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p>This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $63,397 - $79,246 per annum.
