    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Diversified Construction &amp; Design is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to join our Mechanical Division.</span></p>\n<p>We offer competitive compensation, employer-sponsored health insurance, 401k with company match, Paid Time Off. Travel and out-of-town work may be required depending on client and project demands.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with Project Managers, other relevant management, and clients to ensure projects are executed within budget and on time.</li>\n<li>Lead and support a team of workers, including managing work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.</li>\n<li>Promote our safety culture by enforcing safety procedures, including educating new employees on safety procedures, regulations, and expectations.</li>\n<li>Propose potential adjustments within operations as necessary to best meet project deadlines and budgets.</li>\n<li>Engage with the workforce to establish relationships that promote communication, transparency, and accountability.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of local, state and federal construction regulations.</li>\n<li>Coordinate supply deliveries with vendors as needed.</li>\n<li>Maintain a log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate knowledge of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and identifying signs of maintenance issues.</li>\n<li>Travel to and from client location as needed.</li>\n<li>Promote company’s growth vision and long-term strategic goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Effective communication, including active listening, is a crucial leadership skill.</li>\n<li>Transparent and timely communication, employee motivation, and respect.</li>\n<li>Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking</li>\n<li>Effective problem-solving and cost-effective decision-making skills</li>\n<li>Experience giving direction and instruction to coworkers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additional Qualities Necessary:</p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.</li>\n<li>Consistently demonstrate a positive company image to Diversified Construction &amp; Design’s vendors and customers.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>",
