    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Guardian Energy Lima has an exciting opportunity for a Commodity Manager to join the team! &nbsp;&nbsp;We offer full benefits to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term and long-term disability, paid vacation and paid holidays.&nbsp;</p><p>As a Commodity Manager you&nbsp;will be responsible for&nbsp;managing corn origination, co-product logistics and related functions in order to maximize the benefit to the Company. &nbsp;In addition, you will be responsible for procuring corn at best price and providing sound administration of local corn risk position to reduce risk and enhance plant profitability. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES</strong></p><ol><li>Responsible for procuring corn from suppliers at competitive price given market conditions at time of purchase.</li></ol><ol start=\"2\"><li>Develop and maintain relationships with area producers and commercial entities with a strong emphasis on direct farmer business. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ol><ol start=\"3\"><li>Report purchases as directed by supervisor to ensure appropriate hedging strategies are followed as outlined in the Risk Management Policy.</li></ol><ol start=\"4\"><li>Review hedging transactions for correctness.</li></ol><ol start=\"5\"><li>Ensure purchase contracts are signed and returned.</li></ol><ol start=\"6\"><li>Continue to develop and update producer and commercial contacts. &nbsp;</li></ol><ol start=\"7\"><li>Monitor and report grain movement in the area for better market insight throughout the Company.</li></ol><ol start=\"8\"><li>Direct Scale Operator personnel to ensure proper grading of corn. &nbsp;Retain samples as required to address/resolve disputes.</li></ol><ol start=\"9\"><li>Direct daily activity of scale house.</li></ol><ol start=\"10\"><li>Maintain proper inventory levels of corn to keep plant producing at levels directed by Plant Manager.</li></ol><ol start=\"11\"><li>Report inventory levels to management and RPMG as required.</li></ol><ol start=\"12\"><li>Maintain excellent communication with the team including RPMG, railroad personnel, administrative and production staff.</li></ol><ol start=\"13\"><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>TRAVEL:</strong> 10-15% </p><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technical or related field required. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE&nbsp;</strong><strong>&amp; EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years of commodity procurement experience with excellent knowledge of the grain industry.</li><li>Supervisory experience preferred. &nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook required. &nbsp;Knowledge of general office equipment required. &nbsp;Experience with grain accounting software required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>SKILLS/ABILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. &nbsp;</li><li>Strong basic math and analytical skills. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to maintain good relationships with internal and external customers, use tact and diplomacy and possess a customer service focus. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Comfortable problem-solving skills, negotiating terms, resolving disputes and overcoming obstacles.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy.&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
