We welcome candidates who can contribute to the excellence of our academic community.</p>\n<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>The Department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine announces the vacancy for Colon and Rectal Surgery attending.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>SUMMARY OF DUTIES:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as an attending colorectal surgeon.</li>\n <li>Participate in the clinical education, training and development of residents through practice-site rotation activities and conferences.</li>\n <li>Participate in the development of unique and collaborative research specific to colon and rectal surgery.</li>\n <li>Participate in the administrative operations of the Clinic sub-section / section or University division based upon assignments determined by the Section Chief and/or Sub-section Chief.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Board Certified General Surgeon with post-graduate training in Colon and Rectal Surgery.</li>\n <li>A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia</li>\n <li>A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate</li>\n <li>Must sign the Non-Compete Agreement of The Emory Clinic, Inc. as a condition of employment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
