    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div style='font-family: \"Segoe UI\"; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;' data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">HornerXpress seeks an energetic, reliable, and experienced Delivery Driver to join our branch in St. Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate must have a valid CDL (HAZMAT endorsement preferred), be willing to go the extra mile for the team and have a strong work ethic. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products to customers while providing professional customer service and supporting branch operations. They serve as a front‑line representative of the company and embodies the Team Horner values of Working Together...Growing Together...Winning Together.</span></div><p><br></p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Accurately pull and load orders onto truck based on delivery schedule</li><li>Properly mark outside of trucks with DOT signage and load truck securely in accordance with DOT regulations</li><li>Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspection of trucks</li><li>Unload vehicle and place returned merchandise to assigned areas</li><li>Maintain truck with proper fuel level, keep interior clean and free of debris</li><li>Maintain service schedule, notify supervisor immediately of any repairs/work needed on vehicle</li><li>Report all road violations, accidents, and unusual occurrences to supervisor immediately</li><li>Provide prompt, courteous and efficient customer service/deliveries</li><li>Deliver products to customers and stock shelves where appropriate</li><li>Responsible for collecting COD payments on delivery and note all check/cash collections on order form</li><li>Obtain signature for each delivery or obtain supervisor&rsquo;s permission to leave orders unsigned for</li><li>Fill out necessary paperwork for product/warranty returns</li><li>Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and organized warehouse</li><li>Help with warehouse stock replenishment</li><li>Communicate any changes in customers&rsquo; buying habits or other matters needing attention to Branch Manager or Salesperson</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE</strong></span></p><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;\" type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Team player mentality</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Strong communication skills</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Forklift certified is a plus</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Clean driving record</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">CDL Class B or C, HAZMAT endorsement preferred</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to drive multiple hours at a time</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to lift/carry/move 50 to 100lbs continuously</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to deliver up to 350lb equipment with a hand cart</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; line-height: 115%; font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Safety conscious</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Participation in the Team Horner Employee Stock Ownership Plan</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Ongoing industry training</li><li>Yearly performance and long service awards and events</li><li>Paid time off: Holiday, Vacation, and Personal</li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance offered</li><li>401K and Roth offered</li><li>Extensive wellness program</li><li>Positive and friendly work environment</li><li>Merchandise discounts</li></ul><p>...and so much more!</p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Team Horner is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and encourages growth and opportunity for all.
