Ridge Drive Charlotte, NC 28273</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What to Expect</strong></p>\n<p><em>You’ll be interviewing, so come ready!</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you have experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical, that’s great! If not, that’s ok, too. We’d love to hire experienced people, but we’re also looking for people to join our <strong>Build a Plumber</strong> class starting <strong>August 17</strong> and our <strong>HVAC Tech Builder</strong> class starting<strong> August 31</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>These are <strong>PAID </strong>training opportunities where you’ll work with some of the best in the industry to become a HVAC technician or plumber!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Upon successful graduation from either program, technicians will transition into our <strong>Mid Shift </strong>schedule. Candidates should be excited about serving customers during <em>afternoon </em>and <em>evening </em>hours as they begin their careers with Morris Jenkins.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’ll be interviewing and making hiring decisions THAT DAY. Qualified candidates can receive job offers before they leave the event. Must be able to identify and inspect equipment, parts, and colored wiring to safely test, repair, and install electrical connections with precise hand eye motor skills.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Individuals must be able to deadlift 90 pounds to a height of three feet or greater. This includes lifting and/or carrying materials required to fulfill the responsibilities of a drain specialist. This may include but is not limited to items such as toilets and drain cabling machines.</li>\n <li>Individuals must be able to hold and extend proper drain machines weighing at least 25 pounds for an extended time when applicable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Mental Demands</strong>: Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations. Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. Conscious attention to detail is required to safely perform tasks.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work environment:</strong> Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, sharp objects, poisonous animals, etc. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid local driver’s license with acceptable driving & criminal background record</li>\n <li>Abstinence from drugs with clean drug screening results</li>\n <li>Professional appearance, no visible tattoos</li>\n <li>Reliable and punctual attendance</li>\n <li>Commitment to company values</li>\n <li>Must have required hand tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Morris-Jenkins is located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
