    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity:  Door Person</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Greet each guest in a friendly and professional manner at the front door of the hotel and maintain the appearance of the front door area in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.</p>\n<p> <strong>Potential Career Path</strong>   </p>\n<p>Guest Service Agent– Bell Captain – Front Office Manager</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Open vehicle and hotel doors and greet guests upon arrival and departure.</li>\n <li>Hail taxis as needed.</li>\n <li>Respond to guest questions and provide information about local attractions, events and daily activities in the hotel.</li>\n <li>Greet V.I.P. and repeat guests by name.</li>\n <li>Sweep and mop the floor and outside door area daily to maintain an organized and clean appearance.</li>\n <li>Maintain knowledge of all emergency procedures, including guest-related responsibilities and evacuation procedures.
