    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervising and coordinating all shipboard requirements</li>\n <li>Managing the performance of their crew of O&M Technician crew members</li>\n <li>Serving as the senior contractor onboard the ship supporting IOSC and the contractor</li>\n <li>Standing watch in the SURTASS Operations Center (SOC) onboard SURTASS vessels to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair SURTASS mission equipment to support Fleet requirements, including maintaining all required records and logs and monitoring and sending record Naval Message Traffic</li>\n <li>Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all SURTASS mission equipment in accordance with the PMS and other reference documents, as required </li>\n <li>Utilizing the WILD trouble ticket application to log all maintenance trouble tickets for action in the JSN/WKRQ log, which shall include all applicable labor, external technical assistance, parts, and time expended </li>\n <li>Maintaining an accurate logistics inventory as provided by the Government, and provide periodic updates to the Product Support Facility (PSF) </li>\n <li>Operating the shipboard test equipment pool used with SURTASS mission equipment, including ensuring it is in calibration through early and frequent coordination with the PSF </li>\n <li>Maintaining a technical library on each ship to support all SURTASS mission equipment</li>\n <li>Submitting required reports in accordance with the SURTASS SOP, and other directives</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING</strong></p>\n<p><em>#LI-LH1</em></p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires an associate's degree in computer science, electronics technology, or be a graduate of US Navy electronics “C” school or equivalent civilian electronics technical school; Curriculum must have dealt directly with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of: \n  <ul>\n   <li>VME computers, digital computers, microprocessors or peripheral/interface equipment, networks, communications system, navigation system and/or sonar system</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Five (5) years of experience managing personnel </li>\n <li>DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required within 12 months</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Four (4) years of practical hands-on experience in the operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of secure networks and communications systems, navigations systems, and sonar systems</li>\n <li>Experience with SURTASS mission systems is highly desired</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL</strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Requires travel/underway periods of up to 90 days at a time</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
