          "text": "<p>We are seeking a highly skilled Shop/Traveling Diesel Mechanic with extensive troubleshooting experience in medium and heavy-duty truck systems. This role is ideal for a self-sufficient, diagnostic-focused technician who can accurately identify issues and complete repairs efficiently — the first time.</p><p>This position requires travel throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Kansas and Colorado. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision.</p><p>This is a shop/travel mechanic position. With shop being located in Oklahoma City, OK.&#xa0;</p><p>Service truck provided.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Travel between job sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks, skid steers, and related equipment.</li><li>Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of:<ul><li>Diesel engines</li><li>Electrical systems</li><li>Hydraulic systems</li><li>Emissions systems (aftertreatment/DEF systems)</li><li>Transmissions</li><li>A/C systems</li><li>Hi-Rail gear systems</li><li>Spray systems</li></ul></li><li>Utilize scan tools, diagnostic software, multimeters, pressure gauges, and other testing equipment to accurately identify mechanical and electrical failures.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative services.</li><li>Demonstrate strong working knowledge of diesel emissions systems and electrical diagnostics.</li><li>Complete repairs efficiently and correctly on the first attempt through accurate root-cause analysis.</li><li>Perform fabrication, welding, and cutting as required.</li><li>Maintain service truck organization, tool inventory, and parts accountability.</li><li>Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate repair updates with management.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations.</li><li>Work extended hours as needed and operate effectively in all weather conditions.</li></ul>",
