Did we mention that we call our Distribution Centers, Pet Depots?  This business partner will understand PSP distribution operations and how it fits into the overall strategic plan for PSP which is not just a distributor but also a retailer, wholesaler, and a franchisor.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities/Qualifications</h2>\n<p>This position will lead staffing, on-boarding, compensation, benefits, team member relations, performance management, safety and organizational development programs including team member engagement.</p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with the distribution center leadership team to execute a strategic staffing and organizational development plan to support the growth of the business.</li>\n <li>Manage and develop a team of two HR Coordinators that work to support the human resouces needs for the business and the team members.</li>\n <li>Serve as the primary contact for team member relations activities including conflict resolution, policy compliance and fostering open communication.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and training to managers and team members in the DC regarding PSP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal guidelines.</li>\n <li>Support the South Carolina Pet Depot safety team to promote a safe work environment.</li>\n <li>Develop and lead the annual team member engagement plan for the South Carolina DC.</li>\n <li>Serve as a resource for HR programs or projects to complete ROI analysis, project plans, process development, program implementation and ongoing administration.</li>\n <li>Collect, analyze, and report on data to support Human Resources metrics.</li>\n <li>Prepare team member communications regarding compensation, benefits, engagement, and company policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Master’s Degree Preferred</li>\n <li>5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws</li>\n <li>Previous experience in distribution, preferably in retail</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to influence and coach at all levels</li>\n <li>Ability to be flexible and successfully handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS CoPilot</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-SQ1</p>\n<h2>About Company</h2>\n<p>Pet Supplies Plus is focused on making it easier to get better products for your pet.
