We are looking to expand our manufacturing team with the addition of a Mechanical Assembler. The position of Mechanical Assembler involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a commitment to growth through rapid prototyping. A successful applicant will be expected to autonomously complete production tasks from part picking to completing assemblies. Due to a constantly changing production cycle, training will be provided as new tasks are available to learn. This is a permanent, full-time position. Overnight<span> shifts start from 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. and are eligible for a shift premium.   </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use various hand and power tools to complete game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides;</li>\n<li>Update component assembly guides as changes occur;</li>\n<li>Prepare small-batch wiring harness orders for concept prototyping;</li>\n<li>Provide support during quality control testing when needed;</li>\n<li>Provide support during local prototype installations when needed;</li>\n<li>Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization;</li>\n<li>Maintain workspace inventory levels based on weekly checks;</li>\n<li>Other tasks and duties as assigned;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 3-years of experience in an assembly production setting is required</li>\n<li>Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required</li>\n<li>Access to reliable transportation is required</li>\n<li>Experience with power tools is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Perks:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary</li>\n<li>Benefits package</li>\n<li>Paid time off</li>\n<li>Casual dress</li>\n<li>Employee discount</li>\n<li>On-site parking<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Activate:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Taking entertainment into the future by fusing technology and physical activity together to create live-action gaming experiences, Activate is a technology company building interactive gaming facilities with locations across Canada and the US.
