The Maintenance Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This is a position requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative performing all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> This position is located in Wayne, NJ</p>\n<p>Full Time with benefits; Monday - Friday 8am-5pm</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The starting rate of pay is $22.00 per hour (up to $25.00 per hour with the 4 desired ASEs). </p>\n<p>Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>ASE certifications desired will earn you an additional $0.75/hour/certification:</p>\n<p>A4 (Suspension and Steering)</p>\n<p> A5 (Brakes)</p>\n<p>A7 (Heating & Air Conditioning)</p>\n<p>X1 (Exhaust Systems)</p>\n<p>We offer a robust Total Rewards Package including, but not limited to:• Paid Time Off, starting with 5 days upon hire and receiving a total of 12 days your first year, plus 6 holidays.• Health, Dental, Vision insurance; Life Insurance; Prescription coverage• Employee discounts on car rentals, car purchases and much more!• 401(k) retirement plan with company match and profit sharing</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.</li>\n <li>Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.</li>\n <li>Perform in-fleet servicing on new cars according to company procedures as required.</li>\n <li>Perform buy back/turn back servicing according to company procedures as required.</li>\n <li>Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standards; maintain Out-Of-Service at or below 2%.</li>\n <li>Perform 109 inspection</li>\n <li>Maintain safe and clean work area</li>\n <li>Snow removal and operation of a snow plow</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n <li><p>Minimum of 1-year experience handling mechanical service procedures including: oil changes, brakes, and mounting/balancing tires.</p></li>\n <li>Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform basic maintenance and repair responsibilities<strong> </strong></li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, and understand English</li>\n <li>Apart from religious observation, must be able to work <strong>Monday-Friday 8am-5pm</strong></li>\n <li>Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from Wayne, NJ, or relocating within 30 days.</li>\n <li>Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test</li>\n <li>The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid unrestricted U.S. drivers license. \n  <ul>\n   <li>If you are a first-time driver and under the age of 21, you must complete the mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements.
