    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><b>Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Cardiac Data Registry Coordinator to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware.</b></p>\n<p>The Cardiac Data Registry Coordinator is responsible for the accurate collection, abstraction, entry, and validation of clinical data for pediatric cardiac patients within national databases, including the Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium (PC4) and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) Congenital Heart Surgery Database.&nbsp; This role supports quality improvement, regulatory reporting, and outcomes analysis by ensuring data integrity and compliance with registry definitions and submission requirements.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Coordinator collaborates with multidisciplinary teams – including cardiology, cardiac surgery, anesthesia, and critical care – to ensure complete and accurate capture of patient data across the continuum of care</p>\n<p><b>Essential Functions:</b></p>\n<p>Data Abstraction &amp; Entry</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Abstract detailed clinical data from the electronic health record (EHR), including operative reports, anesthesia records, progress notes, and diagnostic results.</li>\n <li>Enter data into PC4 and/or STS databases in accordance with registry data definitions and timelines.</li>\n <li>Ensure accurate capture of perioperative variables, complications, and outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Data Quality &amp; Validation</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform routine internal audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency</li>\n <li>Identify and resolve discrepancies through chart review and collaboration with clinical teams.</li>\n <li>Participation in external data audits and registry validation processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Registry Compliance &amp; Reporting</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PC4 and STS data definitions and submission requirements</li>\n <li>Meet all registry deadlines for data submission and resubmission cycles</li>\n <li>Generate and review reports to support quality improvement initiatives and benchmarking efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Collaboration &amp; Communication</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to clarify documentation and ensure accurate data capture.</li>\n <li>Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including morbidity &amp; mortality (M&amp;M) and quality review conferences.</li>\n <li>Serve as a resource for registry-related questions and data interpretation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Quality Improvement Support</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in analysis of registry data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.</li>\n <li>Support institutional quality initiatives by providing data insights and reports</li>\n <li>Contribute to development of process improvements to enhance documentation and data capture.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Job Requirements:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree required.</li>\n <li><span>Minimum of 5 Years experience in a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Bedside Setting.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Active RN License OR Clinical background required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
