Targeting the neighborhoods that need us most, Clubs ensure all youth have equal access to life-enhancing programming focused on academics, health, and leadership. At the Club, our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Be a Leader in Youth Development</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>A Youth Development Professional (YDP) directly impacts the lives of our Club members by engaging in safe, interactive programs and learning experiences. The role supports the daily delivery of a wide variety of developmentally appropriate youth programs and activities, including Education &amp; Career Development, Sports &amp; Recreation, Character &amp; Leadership Development, Homework Support, and Specialized Initiatives. &nbsp;</p><p>A YDP is a self-motivated and positive individual who can balance an energetic, fun, youth-focused atmosphere with professionalism and maturity. A YDP serves as a role model for all Club Members and is expected to participate in all activities and motivate and inspire our youth to engage as well. &nbsp;</p><p>BGCB is an ever-changing organization and strives to meet the fluctuating needs of youth and the community. Because of this, we are looking for flexible individuals who are comfortable in an environment where job responsibilities and location may be subject to&nbsp;change.</p><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><p>This full-time role combines Before-school and After-school program hours.</p><p>Before School:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Monday&ndash;Friday, 6:30 AM &ndash; 8:30 AM (estimated) or until school begins</li></ul><p>After School:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 1:00 PM &ndash; 6:00 PM</li><li>Wednesday &amp; Friday: 11:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM</li></ul><p>Some flexibility may be available depending on site needs.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist with the planning and implementation of Club programs and ensure quality youth engagement&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and participate in youth activities to create a safe and positive learning environment for all Club members&nbsp;</li><li>Build meaningful, positive relationships with youth and families&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate professionally with Club members, parents, and staff&nbsp;</li><li>Model positive behaviors for children and staff&nbsp;</li></ul><p>These responsibilities do not fully encapsulate the scope of the role.
