We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.</p>\n<p><strong>Featured Benefits:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>State-of-the-art medical and training facilities</li>\n <li>Retirement benefits with match from day one</li>\n <li>Free Parking to all employees</li>\n <li>Exclusive savings opportunities to in-store events, theme parks, discounts, movie tickets and local offerings and so much more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Retail Pharmacy Technician 1 Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing medications and supplies.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Cleans equipment and maintains all required temperature logs according to system policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Checks medication and administration supply inventory for out-of-date products, removes products from inventory and works with the appropriate resource to record out of date products in the Expiring Medication log book.</li>\n <li>Performs computer entry of prescription information including, but not limited to, patient/prescriber search, drug selection, prescription interpretation/entry, insurance billing and basic problem resolution.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepares medications for clients through mixing medications, counting pills, and labeling bottles.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education:</strong>&nbsp;High School or GED.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong>&nbsp;One (1) year Retail Pharmacy Technician experience.</li>\n <li><strong>Certification:</strong>&nbsp;Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia or a Pharmacy intern license. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong> Two (2) years’ retail pharmacy experience.</li>\n</ul>",
