    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:left;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;vertical-align:baseline;' data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"line-height:107%;\">Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, founded in 1916, is one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in the State of Ohio. &nbsp;Utilizing our retail store network, we generate sales revenue to support thousands of individuals with disabilities and homeless local veterans.</span></strong><br><br><span style=\"color:#595959;\">The Donation Attendant provides excellent customer service to Ohio Valley Goodwill donors and customers inside and outside of retail locations. Greets donors, receives donations, and supplies donors with receipts. Prepares donations for the production processing area and works to efficiently expedite merchandise in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>As a member of Ohio Valley Goodwill you will be required to work a flexible schedule in support of the store opening, production, and closing operations. This schedule will include work on weekends and holidays.</span><br><br><strong><span style=\"color:#595959;\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span></strong><br><span style=\"color:#595959;\">1. A minimum of six months of previous work experience, or the equivalent educational or vocational experience preferred.<br>2. Ability to provide exceptional customer service to all of our customers and donors.<br>3. Ability to understand English and interact with customers and employees.<br>4. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with associates and customers.<br>5. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, bending, lifting, kneeling and climbing for prolonged periods of time.<br>6. Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently.</span><br><span style=\"color:#595959;\">7. Ability to be trained and safely use big joe stacker and pallet jack (age 18 +).&nbsp;<br><br><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><br>1. &nbsp;Ability to motivate the team.<br>2. Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.<br>3. Previous pallet packing and forklift experience.<br>4. Basic computer skills.<br>5. Multilingual with fluency in English.<br><br><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br>1. Provide exceptional customer service to all our donors/customers.<br>2. Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting donors and safely unloading donations from vehicles.<br>3. Complete donor receipts and offer the donor a copy.<br>4. Sort donated items into designated categories.<br>5. Comply with safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Retail General Manager or Retail Assistant Manager or Retail Supervisor on duty.</span><br><span style=\"color:#595959;\">6. Maintain a professional appearance adhering to Goodwill uniform standards.<br>7. Comply with all Ohio Valley Goodwill policies, including, but not limited to, reporting theft or misuse of company property or other illegal activities.<br>8. Demonstrate ethical behavior and comply with Corporate Compliance.<br>9. Adhere to work schedule set by supervisor.<br><br><strong>OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br>1. Help truck drivers and their assistants load/unload donations into company vehicles for transport to/from other store locations.<br>2. Maintain a professional appearance adhering to Goodwill standards, including compliance with OVGI dress code.<br>3. Perform general housekeeping duties as needed including janitorial tasks such as cleaning restrooms or removing trash from the parking lot.<br>4. Communicate OVGI&rsquo;s mission and vision effectively to our donors and customers.<br>5.
