    "description_html": "<div class=\"job_description\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Registered Nurse </strong>for a facility that houses individuals detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Eloy, Arizona</p><p>Full-time<br>Days, Nights, and Evening shifts available</p><p>8/10/12 hr shifts</p><p><strong>DAILY DUTIES</strong></p><ul><li>Perform intake screening and physical exams to identify conditions requiring referral or treatment.</li><li>Provide care for common acute problems via nursing guidelines</li><li>Complete nursing rounds for patients in infirmary care and segregated housing</li></ul><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Provides direct care to patients</li><li>Performs prescreening and intake screening of patients newly arrived at the facility.</li><li>Uses established intake tools for gathering subjective and objective data, referring abnormal findings or responses to a medical, dental, and/or behavioral health provider</li><li>Performs sick calls, assessing and treating acute problems</li><li>Refers patients to an NP/PA, physician, behavioral health provider, and/or dentist</li><li>Performs physical examinations</li><li>Provides clinical supervision to Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel</li><li>Administers medications as ordered. (via the oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous, topical, ophthalmic, and other enteral and parenteral routes)</li><li>Performs various treatments such as wound care, vital sign checks, electrocardiograms, etc. as ordered by a medical, dental, and behavioral health provider or registered nurse.</li><li>Collects laboratory specimens and performs point-of-care testing or prepares specimens for laboratory processing. Takes appropriate action on lab results received.</li><li>Respond to medical emergencies and render emergency care to stabilize patients and prevent deterioration, and transfer patients to appropriate levels of care.</li><li>May be required to participate in involuntary, court-ordered care.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Current, full and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in Arizona or licensed in a compact state that allows practice in Arizona</li><li>Minimum one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse in a hospital, medical office or residential setting</li><li>Experience in a detention/correctional or residential healthcare setting is preferred.</li><li>Graduate from a nursing program accredited by The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)</li><li>Graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing must possess a current, full, active and unrestricted registration to meet this requirement.</li></ul><div style=\"margin-bottom:11px;\"><br><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>BENEFITS</strong></span></span>",
