From designing stationery for Jenna Bush Hager and Mindy Kaling to collaborations with Paperless Post and installations at the White House, our work sits at the intersection of luxury, creativity, and meticulous execution. Founded in 2006, CBP has grown from a custom stationery studio into a full-service design firm with a team of designers, illustrators, project managers, and production specialists. While based in St. Louis, our clients span the country.

Role Overview
Hours: Full-Time
Schedule: Weekdays; occasional evening check-ins as needed, weekend work is rare and travel is minimal
Portfolio:
Personally manage 10–20 projects
Oversee a team of 3-4 Project Managers, each handling 30–50 projects

You bring 5–7 years of project management experience to the table. You excel at building project architectures, managing timelines, and delivering complex, multi-component projects.
A Proven Leader
You have 2–4 years of experience managing people. You coach, mentor, and elevate your team while holding a high bar for performance.

You understand budgets, profitability, and resource allocation. You’re comfortable analyzing reporting and making recommendations that improve performance.
A Strong Communicator
You navigate the luxury client experience with clarity, professionalism, and empathy. You communicate effectively across clients, vendors, and internal teams.
A Problem Solver
You anticipate challenges and adapt quickly. You are proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers
Work with Resource Director to assign work strategically across team members
Participate in leadership-level planning and decision-making
Project Management
Oversee complex client projects from start to finish
Support team members in managing their project portfolios
Process Improvement
Identify and implement systems to improve efficiency and reduce errors
Continuously refine workflows to enhance the client and team experience
Embrace AI to reduce human error in our work
Budget & Timeline Oversight
Guide accurate project scoping and estimating
Analyze profitability and recommend improvements
Participate in monthly revenue reconciliation meetings
Partner with accounting on reporting and forecasting
Onboarding & Transition Support
The current role holder will remain involved in a part-time, remote capacity to support onboarding and ensure a smooth transition. They will also continue managing resource allocation, allowing the new Director to focus on integration and leadership.
