With more than 1 million on-site visitors, 224 million television viewers worldwide, close to 40 million online visits, and more than 3 billion social media engagements in 2025, why not come and enjoy the thrill and excitement of working with our team?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking <strong>Seasonal </strong><strong>Grounds Crew </strong>team members to monitor and maintain the courts during match play.</p>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>The Role </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow safety rules and regulations</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe and clean environment</li>\n <li>Interact with internal and external customers in a friendly and welcoming manner</li>\n <li>Maintain all tennis courts, grounds, and landscaping</li>\n <li>Install windscreens and various court equipment throughout site</li>\n <li>Maintain diverse planting of trees, shrubs and flowers on and around the US Open grounds</li>\n <li>Maintain proper use, storage, and placement of equipment</li>\n <li>Water and monitor the irrigation of plantings</li>\n <li>Perform seasonal landscape work such as pruning, clean-up, and leaf removal</li>\n <li>Clean up litter of planting beds</li>\n <li>Check grounds daily to ensure they are kept neat and clean as per USTA standards</li>\n <li>Properly stock and store equipment such as nettings, center straps, and benches</li>\n <li>Aid in preparation of facility for US Open</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift 60lbs+</li>\n <li>Landscaping experience is preferred</li>\n <li>Comfortable operating machinery and using tools</li>\n <li>Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained uniform</li>\n <li>Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament</li>\n <li>Must be able to work 12+ hour shifts and be available days, nights, and weekends</li>\n <li>Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and able to stand for extended periods</li>\n <li>Personable and proactive team player with excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment as well as during stressful situations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of <strong>$19.00</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Uniforms:</strong> Employees will be provided with uniforms to ensure a professional and cohesive team appearance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Daily Meal Allowance:</strong> A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday during the US Open, allowing you to enjoy meals on-site during your shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Exciting Work Environment:</strong> Be part of a dynamic team at a world-class venue, contributing to an unforgettable experience for players, staff, and fans.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2><strong>Come One, Come All</strong></h2>\n<p>We strongly encourage you to apply if you’re interested; all unique backgrounds and experiences welcome!</p>\n<p><em>USTA is dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities for all individuals, regardless of age, disability, national origin, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or expression, pregnancy, veteran status, marital status, family status, alienage or citizenship status, creed, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.</em></p>",
